Novel Update: I wrote a prologue!

August 18, 2015
Hello Hello Hello!
So I have some exciting news. Well, it’s exciting to me, it may not even affect anyone besides me. Anyways, I have written a prologue! I know a lot of people are going to be unimpressed and that’s okay! When I started this blog it was just to jot down my thoughts and somewhat keep a diary that I could look back on, so let me have this moment!
It isn’t perfect, but it is something. I really wish I could just post it and get some feedback on it, but I need to keep my ideas and characters under wrap! This is the first story that I am being so protective over, my mom isn’t even allowed to read it.
I hope by this time in the year 2017 I will be announcing that my book is coming to stores near you, but that is a dream, it’s a long shot dream, but a dream nonetheless.
Also I have actually bought books on writing so I can have some reference to what I am doing. I have committed to writing one page a day at least. Cassandra Clare, who is one of my favorite authors, goes by the saying, “BICHOK”. And no it is not a foreign swear word, it means: “Butt In Chair, Hands On Keyboard.” I am going to get that put above my desk, so it will give me a daily reminder that I need to get something done that day.
I knew writing a book wasn’t going to be easy, but I guess I never thought that it would be hard to get my ideas out in general. When I write I have two documents open. One has the story that I can move around and make notes on, the second one is just where I write notes or paragraphs or even conversations between my characters. This way I can reference back and forth.
So, I am going to get back to writing, Have any tips? Let me know, I could use all the help I can get!
See you soon!
