April 6, 2015
Hello Hello Hello!
I hope all of you had an amazing Easter and spent lots of time with family and friends! Can you believe that it’s already April? I know I can’t. It turns out that I graduate High School in 7 weeks! That is insane!
This Easter Sunday I started to reflect on the little things in life. I have been so blessed with such an amazing family and life that I often take for granted. We all need to appreciate everything around us, because when you do the smallest aspect can put a smile on your face.
The day started out beautiful at my Grandparent’s house. My grandma had decorated the house and it was all so cute! Especially the table settings.
My favorite part about holidays is how involved my family gets and it creates such a joyous atmosphere to relax in. In the garden there were the most adorable humming birds drinking from the feeders, I must say I was in love!
As I was shooting this little guy, the neighbor invited me to take photos of a momma bird and her eggs. She had created a little nest on the handle of their patio umbrella. Apparently this bird comes every year to make her nest. I couldn’t take that many photos because I could tell she was getting nervous and didn’t want be closer to her eggs.
Easter is my favorite holidays to dress for. I love that it is spring time and that I can break out my dresses in other colors besides black. My dress is from Forever 21 from last year’s spring collection. My necklace is my usual Celtic knot from my mom and my shoes are some cork wedges from Charming Charlie’s.
Whether you celebrate Easter in a religious way or not, I hope that it was a peaceful and loving day. Now that spring time is here, go outside! See the world! Enjoy the world. You only have one day once. That day that was beautiful when you stayed inside playing video games will never come again so get out there and enjoy life. Lay out and watch the clouds, read a book on your grass, go for a walk, ride your bike, or even play with your dog. I know I am going to spending my spring outside and trying to relax. Stress can be lifted by an hour in fresh air, so get out, get moving, and happy spring!
