Hello Hello Hello! This is my first recipe post! So lately I have been trying to eat more healthy and
exercise more often and I thought I would share this super simple salad that I have been loving!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1. Two cups of fresh spinach
2. Half a Cucumber
3. 3-4 Strawberries
4. Chicken (optional)
5. Balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Start off by rinsing your spinach with cold water, the cold water will make sure it keeps its bright green color. Then peel and chop up the half of cucumber into fourths each small slice. Then rinse your berries and cut the tops off. Slice the berries into medallion shapes. You can cook up some chicken for some protein if your prefer, I didn’t have any today but it tastes delicious with the chicken. Once everything is cut, toss it all with a Balsamic dressing, add some strawberries on the top for some color and dig in!
This is a great side salad for the spring, and add chicken and nuts to make it an entre salad!
